Popular landmarks are the Fernsehturm (TV tower) at Alexanderplatz in Mitte, the Brandenburg Gate, the Gendarmenmarkt, the Konzerthaus (Concert Hall), the Berliner Dom, Schloss Charlottenburg, and Potsdamer Platz. The Museum Island is a World Heritage Site.
